Insure your live shipments with ShipYourReptiles

SHIPYOURREPTILES INSURANCE DELIVERS EVEN MORE CONFIDENCE

Littleton, CO - ShipYourReptiles' new on-time and live arrival insurance redefines what is means to ship live reptiles easily, affordably and securely.

ShipYourReptiles insurance provides the only way to insure live and on-time delivery of live reptiles. No other shipper -- UPS, USPS, FedEx or any third party shipper -- provides a similar guarantee. ShipYourReptiles insurance gives shippers utmost confidence by protecting them against late delivery and animal death due to late delivery.

ShipYourReptiles insurance costs $2.50 per $100 in coverage, with a maximum coverage of $1,500. ShipYourReptiles customers can easily add the desired amount of insurance coverage during the Book A Shipment process.

Before this program, reptile shippers who guaranteed live arrival had to pay dead-arrival losses out of their own pockets. ShipYourReptiles insurance removes shippers from this liability by transferring the monetary risk to ShipYourReptiles. In case of late delivery or dead arrival due to late delivery, ShipYourReptiles.com pays the shippers' losses, up to the insured value.

"We are proud of this revolutionary service," says ShipYourReptiles founder Chad Brown. "We have been working for years to make reptile shipping as easy and safe as possible, and our insurance will provide that extra bit of confidence for all reptile shippers -- from big-time breeders to first-timers."

About ShipYourReptiles: In the past 2 1/2 years, ShipYourReptiles has helped thousands of people ship tens of thousands of live reptiles easily, affordably and securely. ShipYourReptiles was founded by reptile breeders Robyn Markland and Chad Brown of Pro Exotics.

Agreed, sweet indeed.

Now people can guarantee live arrival to the door instead of just live arrival if held at Fed Ex or whatever.

Knowing this would make a person want to use them instead of trying to go through the certification process.

yeah but, I hope the scammers don't take advantage of this and ruin it for the rest of us.

I think we have built in smart fraud prevention to prevent that type of scamming.

This is a self funded program, no insurance company would underwrite it, so it was especially important to eliminate any loopholes for shenanigans.

You can find the program outline and terms at the link below.

This program is the only way to get a shipping refund for late FedEx delivery of live reptiles (refunds are specifically exempted in the FedEx certification program), and also for DOA due to late arrival. Along with the packaging and customer service, we offer much more than just a shipping label at a great rate. Full service all the way to Ground service (for merchandise) coming soon as well.

We are really stoked about this.

I was going to get certified and all that. But this thing makes it a no brainer. I may still get certified as a just in case, back up. But like I said, absolute no brainer. To me, they made it too sweet not to ship with them. There is just something about that extra guarantee. Exciting indeed. it is one of those, "why did I not think of that"

I went to the SYR main page.

I clicked on the facebook link so I can "Like" it. Unfortunately it goes to some dudes profile and not SYR.

I figured you might want to know.

It's not the $1,500 animal I'm afraid of dying in shipping. It's the higher range animals that are even $3,000 - $5,000 I worry about. Also it is only if the animal dies because of late delivery, not due to overheating because the driver left the package on the seat in the full sun or it sat outside in a blizzard on the tarmac while the plane was delayed. I have also had times where the delivery didn't happen until 4pm the next day because FedEx decided the area they were shipping to doesn't qualify for priority overnight (even if you pay for it) and they don't give you any warning upfront.

At least some type of insurance is a start though. I do agree with that.

We will raise the limit as we gain time with the program.

As for delays, it is determined by the FedEx Guaranteed time. FedEx has all kinds of exceptions and loopholes for that, weather, mechanical issues, etc.

We cut all of that out of it, and just go by the Guaranteed time. If it is supposed to be there by 10:30am, that is the time. If it is 10:31 at delivery, due to weather delays, mechanical issues, driver falls asleep, you are covered, for both late delivery (shipping cost refund) and DOA (up to the insured limit).

Keep in mind that there are also rural and remote addresses, with Guaranteed times of 12 noon and 4:30 pm, and we recognize those times as well.

If the package is delivered on time, there is no opportunity for it to sit on a tarmac, sit in the sun, or any other type of abuse or neglect. In order for your package to be delivered on time, it is moving through the system, steady and quick.

Shipping a $1000 snake out can be nerve wracking even for the most experienced shipper. There is always that fear of delay, fear of the unknown, and the SYR Live Arrival Insurance program takes that liability onto our shoulders, instead of the breeders.
