Have to let go of my BD and various other things

anakin_lestat Sep 30, 2003 04:54 PM

I need to let go of my BD along with her 4x2x2 cage and all the accesories that I have for her. Decor, roaches, aquiruim, food, etc... Anyone interest must take it all and be willing to pick up near Downtown Los Angeles (would require at least 2 persons, on a saturday or sunday morning).

To lazy to try to sell (items), although everything is in execellent condition.

Couldn't find a shelter in L.A. to take everything. I any one knowns of one, that would be great, again everything needs to go.

When do you need to get rid of it by? Looking to expand my beardie collection. Any special needs?

Number of reasons, moved into an apt, going to start a masters program, health, space but mostly I can't provide the time and maintance right now. Plus I am going out of the country for a week in Ocotber then again in two weeks near the end of year. And have to one to take care of her. So it's in her best interest to be with someone that can dedicate the time.

I would prefer to donate to a school or such.

Again this is all free, just needs to be picked up, don't have the time to deliver.

Although it sounds like a really nice thing to do. Often beardies end up being rescued from school situations. They spend daytime with lots of noise, then from 3:00 on they are totally alone and then there are weekends and lots of holidays coming up too.

Please don't donate the beardie to a school. They don't get fed properly. The kids can be rough with them and they spend way too much time by themselves. They need appropriate human interaction to keep them the lovable little creatures that they are....

I would take him if I wasn't all the way in Illinois. There has got to be someone out there in L.A. that could take him...

Dear poster,

I will send you an email and also post this here.

I would be glad to take the BD into my home. I live in Los Angeles(West Hollywood)and wouldn't have a problem coming to you. I currently have one BD living with me, my one and only. If you decide to pass your BD to me, I'm going to keep the one you pass on to me at my father's place(and monitor it all the time) and keep mine with me for now.(Going to keep other one at pops for 90days quarintine)

My BD is a almost full grown male, had him for about 3 months.

Coming to you and picking up would be pretty easy, my father has his old pick up truck we can bring if the tank is too big for his pathfinder.

So, if you do decide to pass him on, and decide so to me, you can reach me at visteroth@msn.com. Sorry I sound like I'm rambling, just excited

P.S.- Just a few questions.
How old is the little girl?
Tame?
Any health problems?
Eating habits?

Thanks again.
