Looks like a goiter, and sometimes goes down, then re appears, what is it, and what the heck causes it? Too many minerals was one thing said. ?????????????? Don it also needs a name LMAO

The main reference I can find to that area comes from McGuire..

Describes the apparatus of the hyoid skeleton and notes that they seem to vary greatly in size in individuals. Once again, none of my females 'do this' so its hard to get a feel for whether or not its a display thing, an inflation, or some type of puffing as is done when beginning a shed.
