Ringneck snakes and rough green snakes...

herperJames Sep 30, 2003 05:21 PM

Hi all. I think some day I'm gonna get me a San Diego ringneck snake, and I was wondering; what would they eat? I won't get one if I have to feed it other herps, but if these guys eat slugs then that will be fine.
Also, does anyone here have a rough green snake that will eat? I saw one at a store for $30 but last time I got one it died because it wouldn't eat the crickets I was offering. Would they take guppies or earthworms?
Thanks

every ringneck I have seen or worked with has taken earthworms...Except my Regal. At 22" he only wants lizards. pity on the rough green. mine allways did well on crickets. Good luck.
