Neat little snake. Very nice red belly. Bit of a wiggler but a good eater and zero aggression.

Why do you say that? I don't know much about the variations of Bairds.

Because you noted a red venter and the blothes are really dark with mohagany ...could turn out to be a really nice look. Always interesting to see the before and after anyway.

btw, I love Baird's ...just great snakes and make super pets. Your's should calm down all the way once it puts on a little size.

Cool. The parents were at the table when I bought him and I thought they looked pretty nice. That's actually how we came about having this one. My wife was with me and really liked the look of the parents so I picked up a baby to watch the process unfold. I don't mind wigglers, he's not at all aggressive. It'd be cool if he mellowed with age but it's not a must for me. I actually like handling the movers a bit more than something like my RTB which just wants to get as high as he can and then chill.
