That is yet another interesting 'maurus' type rainbow.
How well did they acclimate as W/Cs ?
About how long are they?

The male is under 3' and the female is about 3', perhaps a bit longer (and MUCH fatter). Both animals appear to be full grown adults. Both were very nippy upon arrival and neither would accept anything other than live prey. I got the female switched to thawed rat pups within 2 or 3 attempts. The male took much longer to switch over. He eventually started taking very small thawed mouse pinks off the cage floor at night. Within 4 or 5 times of doing this he finally took a normal sized thawed mouse from the tongs. Both are rock solid feeders now. Neither of them have had any health problems whatsoever and they appear to be rock solid in these regards as well. I hope to breed them this year.
