Desert Spider Mojave hatched- I think :

robyn@ProExotics Jul 23, 2011 03:19 PM

Desert Spider Mojave clutch hatched out today, and we got some cool, and interesting, results.

Our previous Desert Mojaves were both fully striped, which I thought was odd, but neat, and apparently that is "how it was". But the Desert Mojave male in this clutch is fully patterned. Beautiful animal, but now I am not sure what caused the striping originally.

First Desert Mojaves in 2009 (females)

Today's Desert Mojave- 2011 (male)

The Desert Spider Mojave- I think (also male)

The two together

Congrats Robyn! Both snakes are hot, but I really would not have expected the Desert Spider Mojave to look like that. I have two more weeks before my Desert stuff start hatching, and I'm chomping at the bit! I'll just have to live vicariously through you guys until then.

I can't wait to see the Deserts you hatch this season Dan!

maybe...maybe not...the black is a little dark I think...but what do I know....I do have spider mojos....and they are lighter...but I forget what the color was at hatching...they are 2 now.......a friend has the same trouble...bee ? or mojave bee he had?....he thinks bees to his dismay...2.......but I didn't see them....

so....MAN that pattern is really reduced though....either way...good stuff good money makers....

Congrats!!!...good luck...

Robyn, that desert spider mojo is gorgeous, even if he doesn't look like what we expected! I do like the striped desert mojos from last year a bit more than the ones from this year but both are very nice.

Good luck on your other combos.

Robyn, any way you can post a desert spider next to this desert spider mojave for comparison.

That mojave and desert are doing some unexpected things when mixed. Still don't understand the desert x mojave x enchi.
