breeding question

mstgcb22 Jul 24, 2011 09:20 PM

What would happen if I started breeding b4 November? If I cooled them down just like they where in aferica would they still produce good healthy eggs or would they all be duds? If someone could take the time to answer me that would be great.

November is just an average.
People breed their ball pythons all year round with no issues.
(Meaning some cool in November, some in January etc)

So what would happen if I put a male in with one of my 2300 gram female, would they breed even with the temp remaining at 87 to 91?

I bred from October till late March or more...

they laid when they wanted...

I hatched eggs month plus ago?...

and I got some to lay in 3 weeks or so...

and today I got clown to het clown and amel to amel eggs...

so they lay when they want to no matter what we do....

////people think breed Nov, ovulate Feb, lay in late March or April....hatch in early June....all of them...

it don't happen that way...and the more you have the worse it gets...

I used to get 10 clutches from 11 females...and they'd lay in order from top to bottom of rack....now it all over anytime and I got ....so far....like 27 laid of 37 bred.......
