Nice. Was the breeding albino x albino?

Some of the eggs looked dark though not the usual pink. I thought something might be wrong with the dark ones but so far so good.

Nice job on the successful albino x albino breeding. Keep us updated on how the babies are doing.

To follow up on John's post, I remember someone saying a little while back that problems have come up from breeding albinos together. I wanted to ask what happened with these? Could the problems have been from using too closely related adults?

Look great Stu!

I only had an albino to use for my albino female and 2 hets. I just got lucky...even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then!

I've also heard that albino to albino breedings sometimes produce undesirable results. My albino to out crossed hets resulted in much higher infertility. Don't ask me why because I sure don't know. I'm just real pleased with this batch. So far they all appear to be pretty healthy.

Congrats Stu!!!

Are those Extreme red albinos, or another line?

they are just pink albinos with nice color and contrast. I was happy with how they turned out though. Almost identical to the parents.
