7/16 Bcc Albino RLT Litter

BoaMorph Jul 26, 2011 12:56 AM

Our final litter of the season left us with BIG smiles on our faces! This albino Roswell-laddertail (RLT) litter is the product of a 50% Bcc male het-albino RLT bred to a 3/8 (37.5%) Bcc female het-albino from our Groovy Coral bloodline that traces its lineage back to the 50% Suriname crosses that Brian Sharp produced way back when. So, all these babies are 7/16 (43.8%) Bcc.

The good: 21 babies
The bad: 10 slugs
The ugly: 3 underdeveloped DOA premies (1 albino RLT, 1 albino, 1 normal)

We really lucked out on the odds with this litter. Of the 21 very robust and healthy kids, there are:

7 albino RLT
3 albinos
4 RLT 66% poss-het albino
7 66% poss-het albino

And they are HUGE – more than twice as big as the boas from some of our May litters are now!

Enough chatter, on with the photos!

Hoping to find time to post some other 2011 litter highlights over the next few weeks. For now, thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed the pics!
