Stillwater Hypo Bullsnakes

DISCERN Jul 26, 2011 04:08 PM

I was able to take some recent pics of my yearling Stillwater hypo bulls I picked up from Johnnie Ballentine in Daytona, 2010.

This female has lighter orange, and a lighter overall color scheme.

This female has more pronounced black and black coloring overall.

It has been a complete joy to have two of these fine specimens with a different look in each one. They are turning out quite nice, IMO, and are among my favorites in my collection.

Those are as nice as they get ...and that's pretty darn nice in my opinion My '08s are super pets ...dumber than rocks but really nice They even hooked-up the other day, so we'll see.

You both have some beautiful animals!
I think my bulls are smarter than rocks! They like to watch me do stuff in the cabin. They are my most sociable snakes. Although one time Zoey was really hungry and when I put the mice in her feeding box with her she was so hungry she tried to bite the place they had been laying at after she ate them. Her way of telling me she needed more; maybe not so dumb after all!

Some snakes is smarter than others, that's all ...I love my Stillwaters as much as any but they don't quite seem all there compared to some other pits I have. They're definitely all there when they smell food though.

Stunning!

My female Stillwater is very much like yours. With the male however, blothes gradually fade to red towards the rear.

Just looking at them puts a smile on my face. One of my absolute favorites.
