Well, since I don't know what most of the folks look like here, I am guessing this is Rainier aka Bluerosy with you. Could be FR, though.

I found this video of him kicking a little ass on a city bus bus the other day...I guess the young punk said something about kingsnakes NOT bonding.

Keep up the good fight, Frank...and never stop

>>"didn't mean to make that so big."

SUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRE, you didn't.

hahahhahaa!!!!!!!!

FR Jul 27, 2011 02:12 PM

Naw, I don't weight train. I did do a couple of sessions of Insanity in this year. Its works on cardio and legs, not upper body, hahahahahahahahahaha no arms what so ever. i do some exercises, like push up and pullups and oddball situps.

I am thinking of giving PX 90 a go in the fall.

I was never big, I wrestled in high school, aau and college. I also boxed, lenght and speed for my weight was an advantage.

As an older person, I do not want any excess bulk, as you just have to carry it around. As I do lots of field work, its only more weight. In the next ten years, I hope to lose another ten pounds.

Hey, do you think our attitude on feeding has anything to do with our understanding of diet and humans?

The second pic is me in an effort to enlarge my arm. hahahahahahahaha It works well enough, then the swelling goes down.

Bluerosy Jul 27, 2011 02:33 PM

My wife got P90X DVD and I tried it with her. I found it to easy. Besides you can make up your won routine. The P90X also uses a lot of legs and abs.

I like te MMA conditioning type stuff. I have been doing this workout that Randy Couture uses with a 95lb barbell.. I worked up to 5 sets with 95lbs, with one minute inbeteen sets. Which is quite an accomplishment!

www.youtube.com/watch?v=mALKhxdSenI

Now with 95lbs and most guys can do one set..which is easy. but not quite so easy on the second set because their nervous system starts to shut down and their legs shake and such. They usually get halfway and quit on their second set.

Try working up to 3 sets with 95lbs , 10 reps each with one minute inbeween 9no longer than 60 seconds or it does not count!) That is pretty good for a 60 fellow. Then you are done for the day.

And i think with our eating and taking care of ourselves we probably have a deeper undertsnating about feeding.

Oh and I don't train MMA. I just like to be in shape in case I ever have to ,lol!
-----

varanid Jul 27, 2011 03:02 PM

Bag work done right keeps you in hella shape. Work up to 10 3 minute bouts on a heavy bag, making sure you move, attack with arms and legs, etc...I was never in better shape than when doing MMA stuff.

mbrawley Jul 27, 2011 03:26 PM

True that. My weight constantly fluctuates depending on my assignment at work and how much time I have to train. I go through a "fat to lean...lean to fat...fat to lean" cycle about every 2 years or so...hahahaha!

Hmmmm. That's weird. Remember this pic I took of you the day we went collecting? Dude this was just in the beginning of June. What happened to you man....you looked all sucked up. When was that picture taken of you at the beach? I'm guessing some time before the picture I took just last month. You got worms or something? Well regardless, get well soon bro. I'll be praying for you.

I like the human body to look strong and healthy. For some odd reason most of my life partners have been fat, though. Not really obese, just nicely padded. I myself am a small slim person who can't get fat because I have a lot of physical work to do all the time.

It is nice to know who that guy in the first photo with Cindy is. He doesn't look nearly as contentious in the picture as he is online. LOL!

Bob, darlin, don't you know the alpha B will always tame the wildest of beasts.

I seriously think after meeting some of the most outspoken of this crew (Frank, Rainer, Thomas and more) that if we all sat down with a couple of cases of beer, we would all and I do mean ALL get along famously.

What I imagined Frank looked like; hiking around in the extreme desert boonies observing the local fauna and formulating original conclusions...I thought he was older than God but he is my age...not that that pertains to anything, as I am 66 going on 13.

In the company of women most men are better behaved.

So you are saying you thought he looked like Mark O'Shea?

Yep. Got around with the who's who of the reptile world. Dont worry, I had a chat with someone more important to controlling frank than anyone else in the world. I also met his wife. I really know how to hit him with the smack down now. Dont make me mad or you will sleep on the front porch.
