Dispell the color and age thing for me???

JustinM. Sep 30, 2003 08:06 PM

So, do carpets and diamonds get brighter the older they get? Or are they brightest when they are youngest? Or are they brightest when they are mid-age? I have a coastal, jungle and a jungle X diamond python. Thank you for responding!

From my limited experience . . .
Jungles
Babies-not colorful at birth
Juveniles-show increasing coloration for a while, perhaps up to 2 years of age or so
Adults-either keep their color or dull/mudden out with age

Diamonds
Babies-ugly
Adults-gorgeous

Transition of color related to age, growth rate, bloodline . . .
