"pardon our MESS while we make some adjustments!" After 3 days of this, I guess you weren't kidding. I liked the original much better. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Evolution should tend towards simplicity not complexity. The forums were much better and easier to access when they all were posted on one page. the more complex you make things the less traffic your website is going to have.
This is what happened to myspace. Personally I hate facebook and liked myspace when it was more user friendly. As a professional musician I need to utilize such sites to promote my band. I would have never went to facebook but had no choice as it became way too user unfriendly and fans abandoned it in droves and went to facebook.
I still hate facebook, there are issues with it on many levels but I needed to go where the traffic is so there I am. Almost every major band in the central fl. area I know of still maintains a myspace page and I can tell you that none of them uses it to any degree at all nor do very many of the fans. As a paid advertiser you would do better to primt up a bunch of flyers and dump them out your car window on I-4 than to advertise on myspace. The response you would get from angry cops and DOT workers would be greater than what you would get from myspace.
I point out this parallel because I come to kingsnake often not only to peruse the forums but also the classifieds and occasionally other advertisers. the more trouble it is to navigate the sight the less time I am going to spend here as much as I enjoy and appreciate this website. I do not want to see kingsnake go the way of myspace.
