Are there combos out there that CAN identify lines of pastels? Like if a lemon pastel was bread to ???? it would look different than if any other line of pastel was used with the same combo? Or Graziani, Blond, Citrus, Ruppel, Citrus Whiteout, ect. ect. Are there any combos that identify at least 90% of what line of pastel you used? Even if you are not sure, please respond with observations that you have noticed. I figured that there have been SOOO many pastel combos made with ALL the different lines, that maybe we could notice some identifying characteristics.

Thanks,
Matt

Pastel are pastel now.
They have been cross so much together and also with other normals genes that their "genotype" difference is no more out there.

Just like with mojave and lesser and a bunch of other morph.

Who cares about the line anymore, only thing in line to consider is with compatibility like in ghost/hypo and axanthic. Or in some case for desease or problematic morph (but then, you should just stay away).

I agree with half of your statement, but I have to keep my hope that there is a way to tell the difference.

the individual that commented on your post first is Very Very Mistaken !

You can absolutely Identify the Pastel in other combos, if you can't you do not have a very trained eye!

For example, Citrus, NERD Lemon Pastel, Fader Pastel, etc.

More people just need to comment on this thread....... !

There is a big difference between the lemon pastel, grazianni and other lines we forgot and the citrus & fader pastel.

Actually, the fader pastel are more likely a combo of 2 genes together. One that only plays with the pastel.

All the pastels are the sames genes, they are on the same locus.
The difference between the original lemon pastel & the grazianni was that the rest of the genotype (other genes in the dna) was different and one was better looking than others.

It's just like having a golden normal compare to a dark normal.
