Hello everybody. My name is George and I just had a question about my rack. I'm getting different temp readings on my temp gauze. It's an inclosed rack and has 4 inch he tape. I want to know what I can do to make it have the same temp in all my tubs.

How "off" are the temps? because heat rises, you'll never have the exact same temperature reading on every single shelf.

They are off sometimes by like 5 to 10 degrees. I try to keep up the humity by spraying it once a day.

i have a rack i'm in the process of swapping out. 8 drawers are consistent, but 2 are over 10 degrees higher. to equalize these two drawers, what i do is use the same lighting grid that folks use to rest their eggs over hatching medium. this raises the newspaper off of the hot spot by half an inch, and does the job perfectly.

every week i'll put a good bit of water below the paper as the extra heat makes the enclosure much too dry.
