Healthy Weights??

lumpyknee Sep 30, 2003 09:34 PM

I currently own 2 Mali Uromastyx and i was just wondering if they are about the weight that they should be at. One is 11 inches and 167 grams, while the other is roughly 8.5 inches and 129 grams. The larger one seems to be a bit skinny to me, but i am not sure.

I have two mali's that are each 11.5 inches long. The male is a whopping 310g and the female is about 250g. She looks healthy, although she could still stand to gain a bit. My nickname for the male is "Chubs" because he seriously just looks fat.

i think they are ok because if you go to urotopia he has some pictures and info on individual animals he is selling, and compared to his sizes and weights they are fine. If they are still young growing animals then they should be fine. If they have a think tail then they are ok but if they have skinny tails that means they are really skinny.
