who makes the 3 tier display units made of acrylic that come with there own case? i thought it was ARS but they dont have them on there site.
i seen some on ebay from reptile emporium but i have never heard of them before.
any help would e appreciative.

But they are not planning on making them anymore

Brian is planning to stop doing them but he has a huge wharehouse full of them right now.

they are cheaper than his competition
they are better quality, heavier, clearer plastic than others
they come with better cases than the others
they have key locks

I have had many many different kinds of displays over the past 21 years of doing reptile shows and by far for the money Brians' are the best deal. I have been using his for a couple years now and they hold up great and handle travel very well thanks to the quality of the plastic and the awesome cases.

Thanks for all the kind words Evan. We have decided to continue making them, but will be down for a couple of weeks. Sorry for all the confusion.

Yes ARS did make the best dispays EVER! I was told by them that they will no longer make them!! Come on people let's make this post epic long and tell ARS bring em back!!

They were having a lot of problems with the actual display manufacturer. Minor things that turned into big headaches for ARS.

BUT he still have a TON of them available for sale now, so if you are buying now it doesnt really matter, call Brian Hahn.

chads are modeled after doug barrs, put them side by side with ars. ars is better quality, much heavier duty, clearer and has a much better case and they are cheaper. if you go to a nice show like tinley park, many many breeders uses ars.

I have two sets of tri-level acrylics from Doug Barrs. I've had them for ten years or more and they are perfect with no problems, no scratches. You have to be careful with ALL acrylic
displays because plastic scratches easily. One thing I would look for though is how does the unit lock.....many have hasps for each individual cubicle (requiring a lock for each one) and to me that would be far too much work. Mine have a plastic bar that ensures all cubicles in a level are closed and then uses only one lock for the whole level.

brians have a recessed cam lock on each display, it is a little round pop machine style lock with keys, they work well

ARS Did make them, but I was just on the site yesturday and notice instead they sell the cube and the tower now. I like the others better myself.
