Polyzona on eggs...

flintdiver Aug 04, 2011 09:50 AM

Pulled 10 from her yesterday evening. She doesn't have solid black crossover's, nor does the sire, but they are pretty dark, just not completely bi-colored.

Way cool. Polyzona are great snakes. How's the personality on yours? Mine are really nippy, in an almost endearing way.

Cole, I would say mine are more flighty than anything. They like to bolt when I pull the bin. - Paul

Nice. This makes cleaning poop all year worth while.

very cool and best of luck with them... can't wait until mine are breeding age/size.

It's great to see others have polyz as well... until I picked up mine I don't recall a word about them being spoken here.

I must have lucked out when it comes to behavior... neither of mine have ever been nippy, the female has been a pleasure to handle since day one but until recently my male was a total spaz when it came to handling, always wanted to be some place where I wasn't

Congrats again, looking forward to pictures of hatching time!

Nice polyzona there Paul, is that strain from Shannon or Scott?, as I have Scotts strain here & Shannon & Scott reaquired polys from me a few years ago. They look like my polys do. Nice ..John F.

John, there were 2 groups from Ed. One was the Brian Richardson line, these came via Shannon. The other line are F2, Boca Del Rio animals from Veracruz , MX. Fairly certian these are via Shannon too, but may have originated from Scott as both names appear on Ed's data cards for the polyzona group. Check your email too.
