I had a question for everyone about the largest clutches that you have had in your captive animals? I received a WC Bernalillo County, NM hognose from a friend of mine who laid a clutch of 22 eggs a few weeks after she was collected. The record wild clutch appears to be 23 based on Degenhardt et al. 1996. Has anyone had a clutch this size before? FYI the female weighed 344 grams pre lay and 248 post laying. One egg has since gone bad, but the remaining 21 are looking good.
Thanks,
Ian
