B.c.longicauda

A seemingly "rare" bird, not often seen posted for sale or otherwise, why is that? Fear of inbreeding issues due to limited # of animals that were brought in to US or something else? Just curious, I have a recent litter of pure B.c.l's that I am going to sell but wondered why they were not seen much...

I don't think they are that rare now. I see them posted for sale pretty frequently. They are great snakes, but seem to take a little longer to grow to sexual maturity. I have a stunning pair of 3 year olds that I am thinking about selling due to taking on a bigger role in a Colombian project.
