Really nice, Paul. Any lineage on them?

I've got the full lineage otherwise I wouldn't have taken them. My friend Mike Enyeart (Who owns Amazon Reptile Center) had been selectively breeding this line only since 1993. He no longer had the time for them so he passed them to me. He got them from Jim and Sandy Veverka in early 91 or 92 and they got them from Loyd Lemke who had them imported from Galeana in the early 1980's. I personally talked to Lemke about his thayeri animal history a few years before his death as I had interest in his line cause I was hunting them in the field. Mike didn't start getting aberrance until the early 2000's and has been working on the oddballs since. This arevthe only King Snakes Mike has worked with. Pretty easy to track.

Who knows? Maybe you do have that same line. This all started with a snake that had a longer than normal neucal. It progressed after that.

Anther thing that is interesting is the fact that I have Mex Mex with extra long nuchals........

Check this out.....I wonder if line breeding these could lead to fully striped individuals (that was my plan) or something similar to those Lemke Aberrant MSPs......

Man...the aberrant trait these things are expressing is Very similar to the aberrant Amealco ruthveni trait.......

I am not saying they were crossed as I read your lineage information.....

I am intrigued that two separate (yet closely related) snakes began to express the same aberrancies through line breeding.........

Again...now I want a pair.....LOL

I see your point. No doubt. No worries on these though. Babies next year should be no problem. BTW, nice mex mex you hatched out!!

You got it. Also, with the neucals on your mex mex......that could potentialy lead to something. Look at the original longer than normal neucal blairs that had them. Selective breeding with those created some damn near striped animals. Matt Smith made some really neat ones. What's next? Patternless greeri lol???

I'm almost never home so it's off to $1 pool night with the kids. As hot as it was today I'm looking forward to the water more than them.
