2011 CB Guyanas born this morning....

globalsnakes Aug 07, 2011 03:36 PM

Well I tried to stay awake all night, as I thought my first Bcc litter of 2011 was about to be born...but I fell asleep and was woken and hour and a half later(4:30am) by my neighbors car back firing, so went in to check on my WC 03 Guyana RT and she dropped her litter of huge(I'm guessing between 140-175 grams) neonates...with a total of 27 amazing live, 3 slugs, 1 very tiny stillborn and to make my husbandry more fun a partial stool. So, I got to cleaning asap with just a few pics to share.-Charlie

The Sire? Just curious.

The sire is a 2007 WC that my brother collected in Guyana!...see pics of him at: www.picturetrail.com/globalsnakes as he sired my Guyana litter #2 last year to this same dam. I am also going to be updating those pics in the next few days.-Thanks, Charlie

Congrats on that great litter! Have you measured them? I'm curious how many grams they actually are...

All the best,
Adam

They measure between 19-23 inches(7 neonates are 23 inches), but have not weighed them yet.-Thanks, Charlie
