rosspadilla Aug 07, 2011 04:33 PM

Is anyone out there breeding white banded lavender Cal kings? This seems to be a tough morph to find.

You are pobably referring to the desert banded calif kings which were bred into the more yellow coastal line of lavender amels.

yes they are sweet. but do some comparison shopping before you commit. I have seen lots of flavors on white wide bandeds. Some really are much whiter than others.

That's a good suggestion, Rainer. Yeah, I definitely have to be careful about jumping into something right away. A lot of juveniles that will end up yellow or yellowish/cream, start out white to begin with, so there's no telling how they would turn out with out seeing the parents first. I've googled them but have found nothing.
