opinions on balls and in enclosure unprotected 20 watt ceiling mounted heat bulbs - will they go to it and burn themselves - just bought a nice melanine 10 gal at kentucky reptile expo - its builder said the balls will not go on it - also a big time breeder i trust from cincinnatti said his balls will not go on it either and he has 50 units - opinions please - th'x - i'm maintaining 77 and 90 without it pretty well

Why risk it?
I don't use any lights. All have belly heat and 83-84 degree ambient temps. No problems!
Perhaps you might consider a small rack system?
