This is the alterna that is the mom of my first clutch this year. She was "killing" this mouse the other day and ended up in a strange pose. It is a good shot of her belly pattern!

Interesting! I thought the orange went all the way around the snake but I guess not. Have never seen a Blair's alterna in real life.
