I have more cages than snakes, and cages from a myriad of mfgrs. All are functional. I do have some favorites, but all work very well.
The newer versions these companies are putting out are even better. Certainly the overall aesthetics have improved, but so have the joints and seams.
I do not think you will be disappointed with any from a purely functional point of view. Email me for further details of some of the mfgrs you are looking at. I may have one of their products and can tell you what I think. Thus far I have not been disappointed. There is one mfgr where the cages seemed a bit flimsy IMO when I received them, but I still am using their products and they have worked very well thus far. The "flimsy-ness" also equates to very light-weight, so there was a benefit.

My biggest problem ive been running into is I need to compnay that will ship to Candada and many do not so far the only 3 i know of are cages by design which im pretty much ruled out, boaphile which are very similar to some cages I have now and monster cages I really like the look of the expanded pvc cages but I bought mine from cornels world in Calgary here and i was very dissapointed with the service and also the cages are less than a year old and already warping im just trying to avoid that happening again ill pay the extra money if i know they will last
If you reply please use the actual names of the cages you are speaking of so the info you give is worth something to others. I just ordered a Northwest Constrictors cage, aka Proline. I am a custom cabinetmaker and normally make my own but for the price they are charging it is hard to justify. Should have it in a few weeks.
Cages made from HDPS (e.g. repti-Racks, herpcages.com) do not warp, nor do most ABS cages. I have not had Boaphile warp either, they are PVC, but the top panel will flex a bit - no affect to performance of the cage.

I got the enclosure from Ed at NW Constrictors, enclosure is ok, I had to clean up the joints so they went together as they should. Wasn't a big deal for me, plus I have all the right tools. But the customer service has been terrible. You can contact me at ccvmod@triad.rr.com if you want more info.
