Black Milk Info

alkahoon Aug 09, 2011 08:11 PM

Hey folks,
I am currently putting together a small group of black milks to hopefully have a productive breeding colony at some point. I would really like to get some more in-depth information regarding these snakes above and beyond the basic care of them. I was hoping to locate some information on their habits in the wild, natural history, things of that sort. It was suggested to me that I may start here as there may be some people on this forum that have experience with these fascinating critters in the wild. Any direction on where I may dig up some info would be greatly appreciated.

***Would anybody know how I may gain access to the article that Alan Kardon wrote on these in Vivarium magazine back in the 90's?***? Probably a long shot, but would love to get my hands on that article.

Thanks,
Brian

If you PM Cole Grover(Sunherp) from some of his posts below, or he happens to chime in, he would probably be one of your very best bets for that article, as well as a bunch of their different line origins/locales in the hobby today.
