Your tape trap worked. Found this guy wrapped up near the spot were the baseboard and carpet had a little gap. He was probably hiding in the wall.

Got him unstuck with mineral spirits and he was fine, even ate the next day.

Now both escapees have been caught.

I see the pic now! I hope you meant to say you used mineral oil to get him loose and not mineral spirits! I would think the latter would be harsh and irritating for any reptile!

Glad to hear you found him! I hope he wasn't hurt, loosing him from the tape? Jeff's right Mineral spirits could do more harm than good!

I did use mineral spirits. For some reason I thought that was what was recommended. I even made a special trip to get it.

Seems like the snake is doing well and I did rinse him well after removing the tape.

I'll keep an eye on him.
