I call her.... Strawberry

NUCCIZ_BOAS Aug 12, 2011 01:17 PM

I normally don't name my boas, I usually just refer to them as what they are. In example, motley, hypo jungle, etc. But for some reason, whenever i look at this girl, the word STRAWBERRY comes to mind.

She is now a year and a half old, and gets a brighter red as she matures, which has kinda blown me away. When she was born, I knew immediatly she would be a holdback, but I had no idea she would turn out like this!

My 2010 female Sunglow Argentine.....

(first at 2 weeks old so you can see how she matured)

and at a year and a half years old.... =)

Thanks for looking!
Tony

I did..... lol, but I had no idea she would turn out like this....

Back in 2005 I bred a pure argentine to an albino colombian. I held back a few het females. I bred one of those hets to a salmontine het from Chris nicholas, and out popped this one!

I held back her and also brother sunglow. I plan to breed the brother to a pure argentine.

Long term, I want to breed as much of the colombian blood out of them as I can, I'm curious to see how this will look after a few generations.

I would imagine they get brighter, but it's kinda hard to imagine after seeing how this girl has matured. Has me drooling to think about.

I think she's the pinkest Argie albino cross I've seen yet.
