Eggs..posted below new pics today

ajfreptiles Aug 12, 2011 05:28 PM

Here is what I found today...I was wondering about the pink look to the eggs...I thought the blood vessels were rupturing, and I was getting worried. I came in and found a Mojave poking it's head out...The other weird thing is the eggs did not dimple like the others and this one slit by itself. I got curious so I slit the other two of the clutch and checked...My first Blue eyed Lucy in one egg and what may be another Mojave in the other egg. I'm stoked!

Andy,

Congratulations bud.

Is this clutch from the gold blush mojaves that you got from me?

My guess why this clutch did not dimple and the previous clutch did is because your water to vermiculite ratio was heavy on the water side. This usually happens when you don't measure out two two ingredients, but go by feel.

Good luck with the rest of your season bud.

Hey Brian, I am so excited!Yes this was from the Gold Blush Mojavies!! Only 3 eggs but I got my first Blue eyed lucy! I just need them to come out of the eggs before I get too excited. I had 4 het pieds first eggs from balls ever and 2 of them died in eggs after I cut them...I think maybe it was just too soon 53 days but this clutch I was waiting for the first one to pip, and it did day 56 today so I cut a little slit and bingo...I got one. Thank you!!!!
I have seen many of the wonderful pics of the fine animals you posted and you are doing great with all your snakes.
My new number can be found on the website....rather than me just posting it here. Good luck with whatever you have going on bro!

That is so cool bud, congratulations, I couldn't be happier for you.

The mojaves that hatch out of that clutch are going to be knock outs.
