Pied Spider or Bee ?

Holloway Aug 13, 2011 08:14 AM

I got this Pied from a Spider het Pied X a Pastel het Pied. Have seen pics of both and am not 100% sure if it's a spider or Bee. Thinking Spied but ?? If any one knows ,I would appreciate the input. Also in the clutch was 1 norm 66, 1 pastel 66, 1 spider 66 and 2 bees 66. Very fun clutch. Thanks and hope everyone is having a great season.

But I don't have one to compare.

My guess is Bee. We hatched a Spider Pied last year with a very bright head that reminded us of a Bee but her head pattern was high contrast with bold blacks and bright yellow. Yours has the gray wash over the middle of its head that you see in the pattern of many newly hatched Pastel Pieds.
