Pastel Sulfur Mojave Pinstripe

AllBalledUp Aug 14, 2011 10:44 AM

In response to an earlier post, some of you suggested this might be the first. Shout me down if you beat me to it. DOB 7/8/11. Not much yellow out of the egg, so it looked at first like I missed the quad. But the consensus seems now to be that this is indeed the four-bagger. Let me know whether it's appropriate for me to claim naming rights? Thanks...Dave

Thanks, Susan. But if I do get to name it, not sure the nomenclature purists are going to love my choice

Thanks, Oz. For awhile, it looked like the pastel jigsaw might actually be the prettier of the two. But this one colors up with each shed. Fun stuff!

Dave,

Huge congrats! Name it whatever you want! If Willbanks can change the name of the Fire Pastel from what Boeke named it "Nova" to now the adopted "FireFly" then name yours whatever you want man! If someone wants to bulldog you out of your chosen name then I got your back

Thanks, Alan. I will baptize around around supper time, if a pre-emptive claim is not posted before then. Appreciate the moral support, but you may change your mind when you hear my proposed name

Meet the Boom Ball. Guess there could be some chance that name is already taken, but then again, probably not, huh? Alright, before the name haters get too amped, this is named after my son who leaves for college in two weeks, and who carried that nick name proudly since he first sat up in his crib and started banging two wooden spoons. Been a drummer ever since. We hope others enjoy his music as much as we have on the next leg of his journey. So yeah, there it is -- the Boom Ball.
