I have had snakes "camp out" in the egg for a little over 48 hours. Some of the hogs I hatched earlier this year stayed in the egg for about 2 days after pipping as well.
This one was second to pip, and last to come out of the egg over 48 hours later. She is doing great.

They should be fine. Probably absorbing the remainder of the yolk sack.

In the past I have always had hatchlings come out of the egg within a day. This year I had two that took longer than 48 hours. I assisted on day 3 and discovered the problem, they were deformed.
Never had this problem in the past. One egg was rather small and the other was very large. When I checked the inside of the really big egg it was all solid on one side. As if there were another hatchling that died early during incubation.
Freezer material. I put them down.

I've had my hogs sit in their eggs up to 3 or 4 days before and hatched out fat and healthy at 7 to 8 grams. I would never remove them from the egg and let them come out on their own.
