I had Senticolis hatch out at an astounding early 62 days this year. Usually they go to 90 days. I didn't do anything different than usual. Pretty neat! No they are not Santa Ritas.

Very cool, Paul! My current clutch is at 59 days, cooking at a nearly constant 80.8 degrees F - would be great if they would hatch at 62 days. My previous two clutches both went about 90 days for the first ones pipping too. What temperature do you incubate yours at? Is there any difference in the size of the babies compared to other clutches?

Most of the time my snake room holds at a constant 82. This year (especially in the past month) it's been closer to 85-86 as I'm trying to save money on the electric bill. Humidity has been the same and I keep the nest boxes sealed. It must be the few extra degrees but, it seems odd to me. Also, I have rosaliae hatching right now and they are also coming out early. In the 70's number of days and they usually hatch in the mid 90's just like Senticolis.

Wow! Congrats on the rosaliae too - they look great!
Have you noticed any difference in size of the hatchlings from previous years' clutches?
