This is crazy! I found another litter born today, which makes 3 litters in 4 days... a new record for me!

This one was from Beryl, a Pearl male, and Quince, a nice orange female with fat crescents. Total of 17 live, with no slugs or stills! They are both first-time parents too!

Still nothing from the other two girls I thought were first in line. I must say, though, that I took my stay-cation at the right time! If they have any sense, they will drop before I have to go back to work, lol!

Congrats, this has been a wild week for you!!! I still remember a few years back coming home from vacation to find three litters looking out at me.

Gotta love the pearls!!!!!

Congrats Aubrey, those are some great looking babies. How many pearls did you get in the litter? Also, I was under the impression that the pearl trait had to come from both parents to show up in the babies. Is there any history of pearl in Quince's background?

I got 2.2 perfect Pearls, and 2.1 that are near perfect Pearls.... having a few with small dots in the center.

The only history I have on Quince is that the previous owner bought her in a pet store in TX when she was 6 wks old. I guess there could be a slim chance she is related, especially since she threw so many Pearls.

In my other Pearl x Normal pairings I would get more Bullseyes, and if I was lucky I'd get a Pearl. So who knows?
