breeding pair help

i cooled down 3weeks the male weighs 1100 grams and the fmale about 1600. i feed them a small rat once a week. and then introduce the male the following day. when hes first introduced he hows heavy tounge flickering and he nudges her around with his nose and i still never witnessed a lock up. is there anything i do wrong?? any help will be greatful

They breed when they want to. Some breed on the first night, some take months to get going.

I bred starting in October...

I have 2 laying right now......yea...last 2...like 36 females....25 ? more? clutches...I gotta count...>

time...breed in cool weather...short daylight ....
