A beautiful Mandarin Belly Jungle.Only the Supernova name choice I would think again, because there is already a Boa Nova. I would call super so why only one animal, if that is also genetically.

best regards Udo von Colormorphs.de

Where is the probleom of all you guys?? the onelyone who can have a problem with the name is Jeff. I think Jeff has no problem with the name, because he dont whrite about a problem here. And if Jeff had a problem with it, he would whrite me a mail.
My opinion is that the NOVA Boa is still the Homozygozh form and there will be NO Superform of the NOVA Boa.
I think it would be better to talk about this stunning animals, not about the name issue.
Jeff does not want to sound like a big baby. So he is trying not to say anything. There will not be a super Nova Boa? Maybe there will. Maybe there won't. Still out of respect for the obvious originator of a unique name, whether I liked the originator or liked or believed in the original project, my own pride would prevent me from squatting on an existing one. That's all.

Jeff is a class act and like he said, not wanting to come off poorly by defending his position. Only stepping in when directly challenged by the OP to respond.
Another point not clearly identified IMO is....
Even if Jeff's "Nova" line does not have a new phenotype in the "Super" form, that does not mean there would not be a "Super Nova" produced.
For example the Salmon gene is dominant and there are Super Salmons, Super Sunglows, Super Ghosts and even Super Moonglows.
The point being "Super" in our herp community is used (right or wrong) to identify an animal that is homozygous for a non-recessive trait (dominant or co-dominant). Since the name "Nova" is already used, there will eventually be a "Super Nova" whether Jeff does it or someone else, it will be done.
Nobody is meaning to take away from the absolutely gorgeous animals you have produced, just hard to get past using a name (Supernova) that in all our minds is already associated to another very different line.

I believe it's Quite obvious that Jeff does have a problem with your choice of names. You have stepped on Jeff's toes no doubt.
Just look at Jeff's response to the very first time and post when you introduced these
Mandarin Belly / Leopard / jungle Boas and called them "Super Novas".
He explained he already has a Boa Line named Nova Boas.
but . . . . .
Jeff is not the type of person that jumps up and down and throws a tantrum about something.
Jeff is extremely polite and one of the most kindhearted people I know.
He will not come out and argue with you or get in your face about this subject.
He will approach this like a gentlemen and point out to you as he
did that he already owns the name " Nova Boas " !

The industry knows who the Nova Boa comes from, and the work behind the project. Even if Jeff came out with a super form of the Nova years after this guy decided to leg hump Jeff's idea, it would still be Jeff's right to the name, in the industry's eyes.
I say let this fool do what he wants to do, and when the world rejects his idea, because they have more morals then he does, he can suffer the failures that come along with freeloading off the work of someone else.

Sublime Boa Constrictor
I think the main problem that most of are having with name in association to Jeff's Nova line is that this new designer combo comes from three already named mutaions... In reality the "Supernova" is as you described a Manderinbelly Leopard Jungle...
2nd I would be interested to know exactly how you know that the animal you're describing as the "Supernova" is what you think it is.. From what I've seen the Manderinbellies and the Jungles are very similar.. Jungles can be hard to pic even in the heterozygous state much less mixed with the leopard gene and the Manderinbelly line
Confussion of the two bloodlines by name is what most are concerned about... No one is criticizing the gorgeous animal you have produced!!!

So... what is this animal? A Jungle Manderin het. Leopard?
What a looker!

Its just a regular Manderinbelly Jungle. The het.leopards show the het. Leopard influences..
i will post some TH Supernovapictures later this week.
just thinking how to combine the names into one...
LEOPard mandaRIN junGLE
or
MANdarin junGLE leopARD - Mangleard
LEOpard MANdarin junGLE - Leomangle
MANdarin junGLE LEOPard - Mangleleap
