Dragons need to bask after they eat, the heat allows them to digest their food.

well when me and my boyfriend picked them up and brought them into the closet for thm to run around they were very wild after they ate. is this normal? then when he went to put them away the boy didnt want to go back in the cage.

I don't really recall seeing beardies be wild after they eat, unless they got an energy boost from the crix

Normally, they just go bask after eating. Maybe yours were running around looking for a basking spot..lol

After eating, they would be in a high alert state, indicated by the big curve of their tails. However I would recommend letting him bask for about an hour before taking him out of his cage to run around. Or, place a lamp near the floor to serve as a temporary basking spot, so he can sit there to warm up.
