wanted to share the best find I've made yet!

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share with everyone the best find I've made since getting my baby! Anyone who has birds, (and I know that's a lot of you) will know what I'm talking about here: The Polly's Pastels perches. These rule as basking spots!! They are a big log, made out of a core with sand kinda glued to the outside. It's designed to keep birds toenails trimmed down. My dragon loves this as a basking spot. It is kinda gripy, since its all textured, so he doesn't have to cling to it, even though its on a very steep incline, it holds the heat nicely (unlike wood branches) when placed under the basking light, so that he gets the heat from above, and on his belly, and it helps to keep their toenails from getting too spikey! It feels just like sitting on a sand bottom, but the sand can't come off and impact him. I just thought I'd share with everyone just how much we are loving this thing!!

I don't have a digital camera, still gotta do the plain old photo and scan method! but Ive got some comin. As for them being too rough, he doesn't seem to mind it. I thought it might be too, but he doesn't seem irritated by it, and its his fav. place to sit.
