Does a Mystic x Pinstripe outcome still make "Jigsaws"? Are they called the same thing or something else? Do they still look the same as a Mojave x Pinstripe cross?

the mystic is not a mojave, it is a different gene. the jigsaw is a mojave pinstripe

Yes I know that and mentioned it in my original post. I'm trying to figure out if the Mystic Pinstripe has it's own name and if it looks like a Jigsaw since mojaves and mystics look so much the same.
it cant be called a jigsaw because a mystic is not a mojave, I am not sure how else to explain it to you

I'm sorry we're not communicating well Evan, but I know that. If you know what the name of a Mystic x Pinstripe cross is that is my first question. My second question is what does a Mystic x Pinstripe cross look like? I'm guessing people will say it looks like a Mojave x Pinstripe cross which is why I'm comparing the two.
Guees you need to visit this site..

Doesn't answer either of my questions about a name or what it looks like.

If it has been produced, we haven't seen it, therefore no name has been given.
Second, do you have a Mystic? I am going to assume that you do not since you are adamant about mojave & mystic looking the same. That is not true.

I do have a Mystic male. It was very dark/black when I first got him a year ago. But now around 900-1000 grams he looks browner like a mojave. I have sent pics of him to several ball python breeders for opinions and basically I'm at a point where I'm going to have to breed him to a mojave female and see what I get. I have a 1500 gram female pinstripe I'm considering breeding him to as well, which is where my questions come from. I apologize about not being more familiar with Mystics. I'm trying to learn.
When I became concerned about what he is, I contacted the seller and he assured me he would refund the full purchase price plus a few hundred dollars more if he didn't prove out to be a Mystic. On a side note Alan, I haven't found any sharp-tails as it's been too hot here on Northern California. Maybe late September/early October I'll find some and will send you some pics.
Do you have mojaves? If you copare the two, you should be able to tell quite easily.
Here are some belly shots that will tell the story:
Mystic

Mojave

I hope this concludes the debate.
I look forward to sharp-tailed snake pics

Thanks for the pics Alan. Here's my guy. He's between 900-1000 grams and was much blacker a year ago. I compared him to not only your photos, but to my two female mojaves and he does look different than they do, both on top and bottom. I'm still on the fence as he looks somewhere inbetween your two photos. Opinions please? I hate to waste two mojave females on him trying to make Potions if he ends up making super mojaves.
He doesn't look like my mystics not to say he isn't a mystic. What were the parents of this guy? Given that you are having so many doubts, I would guess Mystic X Mojave?
Take your belly pics of him with a white background. It is a lot easier to compare pics on a white background. Also, take comparison pics of your mojave bellies.
I have quite a number of mystics and mojaves. I could throw everyone together in a barrel and then seperate mystics from mojaves with no problem.
It really shouldn't be so difficult. Good luck

Thank you Alan for the response and help thus far. I will try to take pics of them tonight when my wife is home to man the camera. This is why I am not a fan of the subtle morphs. My eye is not too keen when things look so similar. I am a big fan however of purple snakes so the idea of making a potion was/is very attractive to me.
Produced by Fred Talbert earlier this season as the only one I know of that'd been produced.
