temporalis anyone?

Dniles Aug 20, 2011 01:57 PM

With all the beautiful animals Mitch has been posting, he inspired me to do what I've been planning on doing for a while - take some updated pics of my collection. This morning was a nice cloudy day-perfect for picture taking - if only I knew how to use this camera!

First let's take a look at some Tyrrell county NC temporalis

Female - this girl is just perfect to me

One of her babies - a nice 2011 female

Another baby from her - a nice 2010 male

And now for some St. Mary's county animals - these are some of my favorites in my collection

Female - 2013 will probably be her year

Male

And let's not forget Calvert county Hypos (Tpos).

It is so hard to capture the red on these guys, even without a flash - their red just reflects light unless the conditions are perfect it seems.

Female - should go in 2012. She is proven but I didn't have a male for her this year

One of her babies from 2009 - male

A female from 2009 - I like her thin blotch boarders

and a second female from 2009

Hope you enjoyed!

Glad you like 'em Joe. Those hypos look like plastic toys in person. Just crazy.

Fantastic buddy! Great shots of some incredible animals! That was more than you usually post....your wife must be out of town
Better learn to use that camera by next summer, so you can get good pics of all the milks we find in Montana!!

thanks Dawg. I will sharpen my skills by next spring I promise! You guessed it - wife and kids were at the pool which gave me more time than I normally have.

Will try to call you back today.

Super nice Coastals Dave! Makes me want to get into some of those smaller N. American milks.

I figured that I should let everyone know I'm still here doin' my thing and that I'm still relevant in the game, lol. I'll give you a ring soon when I can get a free hour or so to chat. I've got some really nice things commin' out this year and next.

Dave,

My goodness, you've got some stunning animals! No matter how many photos I see of Tyrrell Co. temps, they never get old. Dude, keep up the good work with the camera and let us see some more pics of your other great stuff!
