Super Pastel Cinnamon Lesser? Opinions?

Violetdixie Aug 20, 2011 04:51 PM

Hello,

The last of the babies just came out of this clutch, so I thought I'd share some pics. This was a Pastel Lesser(Mom)X Pewter(Dad).

I believe we hit a super pastel cinnamon lesser, but I CANT find ANY pics on the net to be sure!!!!! The only pic I've found looks like just a pastel cinnamon lesser, and not a super. I'm sure a super pastel cinny lesser has been produced, right? May be I'm not looking up the right morph name? Is there another name for the combo?
Thanks

Havn't sexed them yet, but we got 1?Super Pastel Cinny Lesser, 1 Sterling, 1 Pewter, 2 Lessers, 1 Cinny, and 1 Pastel. YAY!

I hatched one last year and one this year. Only get better with age. You can see last year as a baby in my photo gallery at www.johnmichaelreptiles.com. Not around as I am on vacation but will show a pic of her as a yearling in a week. Awesome animals.

The main page still didnt load for me, but the link did. His snake is beautiful, but I dont think it looks like mine. Mine has less pattern. Variations, heh?

Thanks Alan, my site is old and needs to be updated so sometimes some people cant see it for some reason. Violetdixie, has your snake shed yet? They seem to gain some pattern after the first shed. The one i hatched this year has less pattern.

Violetdixie Aug 21, 2011 09:23 AM

Nope, not yet. May be I'll share more pics when it does shed. Thanks so much for the replies!!!!!!

John's main page loaded on my pc, but still doesnt load on my ipad, fyi.
There is no doubt in my mind that his is a spr pstl cinny lesser. I think his is prettier in color, actually. I know many pewters and sterlings get more yellow with age, and my hatchling will color up too; I think that mine just has a different pattern.
Thanks for sharing

All I was saying was that the two snakes look nothing alike. If they have the same genetics, then there is something else going on. The one in violetdixies post has large spans of missing pattern.

John stated his pic is post shed, violetdixie stated her's was preshed. The super pastel lesser you mentioned looks nothing like John's in my small opinion.

Guess time will tell....

Thanks for sharing. Your hatchling from this year really looks like mine. I am eager to see the coloration come in, and change over time.
Your snakes are beautiful!
