Unfortunately I was a bit busy to snap pics during the show... I was a very good show even though Florida fish and wildlife wanted to give me a ticket for displaying clay eggs in the SIM container... LOL... Funny story...
Sold a bunch of SIMs and got to see some really awesome hogs at the show... Got to hang out with Chad Fuchs, Kevin Rhodes, Jeff Clayton, and Greg Bennett... A bunch of top notch guys that had me crackin up this weekend... It was a pleasure to meet you guys...
Overall, a great show!!!

Ok how long did it take to convince them the eggs were clay? Maybe come easter time you will need to pick up some nice Camo eggs so they KNOW they are fake for next year

Daytona was cool. Wasnt expecting to go but had an opportunity last minute to promote the new hognose book.
Lots of visitors were there, most seemed to want to look. monitors and boas were not as common as years past. Game and fish were in full force. We even got to see several federal agents coming through. (they even wanted to cite people for displaying fake eggs that looked real in sim containers lol)
Highlights for hogs were obviously the lavenders on display by Jeff clayton. Chad fuchs had a cool 2 headed albino hog as well as the axanthic anaconda displayed.
Was an excellent trip for me. Nice to finally meet David Turcotte, Gregg Madden & his business partner John, Clive Longden, John Carlson, Alex Pepper, Johnny Black. Nice to hang out with Rick Cunningham, Tom, Marshall, Bob, Aaron, Mike Kimball, BHB family, Galewoods & JMG crew, Alice ann, Japan crew, Greg Bennett and family, the Claytons, Chad fuchs, Don Shores.
Unfortunately I did not have a camera with me to snap pics.
Wished that sales were good, would have made it a better show.

The Florida fish and game are one of the primary reasons I did not attend this year. To many rules and regulations along with dismal sales along with the cost of the tables along with Wayne Hills attitude all = not attending the show again. There are to many shows in other states without having to go thru all the red tape. Myrtle Beach again next year as I expect it to become a great show as word gets out.IMO
M B was definitely easier to set up. Next year should be even better as word spreads. Prettier town and lots more to do.

Mike, same here. Who wants to drive one way 18 hours only to arrive and be hassled for 72 hours and then drive 18 hours back. Can you say "not fun". I sent a email to the promoters with a bunch of questions and didn't get any answered. So maybe next year Tinely. Or even this year if I can get in. Shorter drive for me and nobody in your face threatening you with fines and attitude even if your not doing anything wrong. Mike
You cannot sell western hognose at Tinley and there are people checking.... Just an FYI.

Mike has a few other species besides hogs...
Thanks Greg.
Chris, thanks, I didn't know that. Keep them home. My main thing is pure blood top of the line Thayeri kings. I also have some rare Pied Black Pines.
