Hi i have been ordering from Herpfood.com I rwecently bought 2000 mealies and 100 supers. Well about 20 of the supers just died within the first day, and there is NO WAY i got 2000 mealies maybe like 900 if that. I am very disappointed. Especially about the supers because the rest are dying as well, or are just extremly inactive. Before when they were just getting large enough to eat supers i bought 100 from petsmart and they lived the whole time until i fed them, not one died. But petsmart is rather expensive...anyways I tried to feed them all last night and will do the same tonight. But in the mean time i really need to find a place that is reliable, and sells supers as well. so where do you get yours from?

I breed my own mealworms, but if I really need to get some I will get them through wormman.com
Herpfood I am a little disappointed in. I just recently ordered some crickets to hold me over. I always buy crickets at wormman, but they only do shipments Mon $ Tues. Herpfood also did shipments Mon, Tues, and Wed. I needed to get crickets so I ordered through herpfood since I forgot to place an order with wormman.
I ordered 3/4 in. crix, and they sent me 1 in. I dont know what they feed their crickets or how they are taken care of, but these crickets stink!!!! I have done everything to cut back on the smell, it helps a little but not much. With wormmans crickets I dont smell a thing. I dont know what it is, but I'm just disappointed.
I really like wormman and the quality of their feeders. Everything is clean, pest and disease free. They also have GREAT customer service! If you want mealworms, get them through wormman and I dont think you will be disapointed. I never have been.

I get my superworms (and crickets) from komodoreptiles.com. He even has 2 sizes, half grown supers and full grown supers (You have to ask for the half sized ones because they don't advertise them). I usually get the half grown because they are about the size of mealworms. They always live a long time. And, they will do right by you if something goes wrong with the order. They are great people.
