2011 Puma Ball

We had the pleasure of hatching out this awesome male, along with the het puma spider combo,and some amazing het pumas all will be powerful mutations to work with in future breedings.Cant wait to see what comes next.

those are so nice. i was really shocked seeing the spider het puma next to a fire spider in daytona. it is such an exciting gene.

so here's what could be a dumb question is puma and Champagne the same snake cause i was messing around on world of ball pythons and they said they are. i really dont know much about puma's to say one way or another on this so thats why im asking the people that work with them. thanks

It is our understanding that the original champagnes were called pumas by our friends across the ocean. When Amir bred what he thought was a spector to a yb in hopes of making superstripes he instead produced the snake in this post. The original puma made by amir was all thought to be a pastel superstripe. it wasnt until later on when anohter breeder produced an actual pastel superstripe that the name puma was attached to this snake. I am sure I left out some details but I think I am close to the actual story. Hoepfully someone with a little more knowledge on champagnes can chime in.
