True Dusty Hog's

repto Aug 25, 2011 07:54 PM

I was looking on fauna and came across a guy selling dusty hog's. I would love to pick up a pair of these. What's holding me back is a little while back there was a post about real dusty's and people thinking they have them. Well this is were my problem comes in..... I don't know whats what when it comes to them.

I explained this pretty well in my "not dustys" post below (I believe this may be the post that you are referring to). Send me a pm if you want more info. I have been looking for someone who has gloydi that did not originate from me and have not been able to find anyone. Let me know if you find someone.

According to Conant and Collins (1994)-

Dusty's-

Middorsal blotches counted from head to a point directly above anus, are fewer than 32 in males; fewer than 37 in females.

Plains-

Middorsal blotches counted from head to a point directly above anus, are more than 35 in males; more than 40 in females.
