I have a male Spider BP. He's about a year and 3 months old. He's been fairly active and is a VERY good eater and will switch between live and frozen fuzzies without any sort of issue. About 4-5 months ago I found blisters and red marks along his side. I was worried that it was the heating pad (stuck to the underside of the glass tank) since he likes sitting over it in his one hide, I've had it unplugged since. Since then the red marks along his side have gone away (fairly quickly) but the blisters remain. About 2 months ago one of the blisters ruptured and I took him to the vet. I was given 5-6 doses of antibiotic. About 2 weeks after those were done the blisters didn't seem to be getting better so I took him to a vet that is more familiar with balls and received another set of shots (with different antibiotics) to give him. Now those shots have run out and there doesn't seem to be any difference. He is still eating regularly every week and is active. I even took out one of his hides which seems to be rubbing heavily on his side and put some dense foliage in its place (He seems content with it still). Nothing seems to make a difference and he seems incredibly oblivious. Aside from fake plants and a watering dish there is a small branch type thing that seems to be sand blasted but is still fairly rough. I also changed substrate to something that doesn't hold as much moisture as the coconut shells I was using because I heard of a blister disease that was possibly related to excess moisture (stays around 60-65 percent now).

Has any one encountered anything like this before or perhaps knows of a very good ball vet in NJ/eastern PA?

I attached an image of the blisters in case that will help.
Thank you for any help
