It was ruff half of my parents beach house is gone..As for my house i came home to my basement destroyed. 3 inch or more of water so the floor will deff need to be replaced and the basement walls dont look to good at all. This was in DE

I fell bad for others as i have seen way more damage out there. My family is from NY They really got hit hard from what i was told.

I thought we live on the east coast to AVOID these problems. I might think long and hard on moving to California. If we need to deal with stuff like this might as well live in great weather lol.
Earthquake and Hurricane in the same week Hmmmmmmmm Hope the rest of you guys out there from the east are all well

Here in New Jersey it was a long dark night,..I live close to Sandy Hook and the eye passed us around 5 am. Basement stayed dry lost no shingles or siding from the house.
Was told not to expect power back til Sept 4th,...so I moved my freezer and about a grand worth of frozen Mice ect. Upon returning home from that I found my power back on..lol! but I was lucky..those on my block who slept when the power went out awoke to flooded basements ...sump pumps don't work too well without electricity!
My family was lucky,...so many others have suffered great loss...our thoughts and prayers are with them.
