question about moss

MattGLet Oct 01, 2003 01:29 PM

i am currently using terriarium moss in my humid hide. how long should i keep it in there (provided no defecation, and other such pollution). it is my understanding that it does not mold. is there a "lifetime" it will last?

Mine did start to grow some white tufts on it and when I asked about it I was told to just rinse with hot water and put back in hide. It didn't grow mold after that.

i too have a humid hide. I take out the moss and soak it in how water, and squeeze out excess water. i then put it back in the cave. I do this whenever i change/refill the water (once a week)
